Celebrate fall during Camden's Octoberfest festival on Saturday, Oct. 11. The event, held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., will feature free admission along with free food, live music, games, a raffle, activities for kids, a book fair, and giveaways. Octoberfest will take place at the Salvation Army Kroc Center Aquatics at 1865 Harrison Ave. in Camden.
The event is organized by Created with Purpose, a nonprofit founded in 2020 that mentors young adults and provides tools for success. While this Octoberfest primarily targets individuals ages 18 to 35, it welcomes all community members to participate.
A highlight of the event is the scholarship program. Two students will be awarded support to help them continue their studies. High school juniors and seniors, as well as first-year college students and sophomores, can enter the contest online.
More information about Camden Octoberfest is available on the Created with Purpose website.
