Philadelphia’s Spooky Season is packed with can’t-miss thrills, family fun, and festive bites from now through early November. Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary returns September 19–November 8 with five haunted houses, historic tours, themed bars, live entertainment, and a new Dark Tides waterfront village experience. Adventure Aquarium’s Fintastic Pumpkin Glow runs September 25–November 2, lighting up the tanks with glowing gourds among sharks, stingrays, and more. Dolce Italian at W Philadelphia teams up with All Aboard Candy for four candy-inspired cocktails Tuesday–Friday, 5–9:30 p.m.: Candy Sour, Panda Mocha, Peach Perfect, and Tequila Blossom.
Make it a night at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City’s Lobby Bar, transformed into “Disco for the Dead” with Instagram-worthy cocktails like the Trick-or-Treatini and Casper-rita. In Conshohocken, Hotel West & Main’s Harvest Fest (Oct. 24–25 and Oct. 31–Nov. 1) features live music, kids’ activities, a costume event, and a Witches Dance workshop benefiting Unite for Her. Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia hosts Sleuth, Eat, Solve on Oct. 24—an interactive Sherlock Holmes dinner theater ($80, pre-purchase required).
More festive stops: Eastern State’s Fall Festival for families on Oct. 26 (free admission for kids in costume and caregivers), Trick-or-Treat Around the Town Center at King of Prussia on Oct. 27, and Glen Eagle Square’s Trick or Treat Around the Square on Oct. 28. On Oct. 29–Nov. 4, LMNO presents a Día de los Muertos ofrenda for beloved pets, plus a Nov. 1 celebration with Ozkar Zoara. Halloween night highlights include Pizzeria Stella’s mini gummy pizzas for costumed kids, LMNO’s disco lounge with DJ Dre, and Valley Forge Casino Resort’s live show and costume contest on Oct. 31. Keep the party rolling Nov. 1 with Fette Sau’s Fall & Halloween Festival (pumpkin painting, seasonal bites and sips) and Continental Midtown’s Halloween Party with a $500 costume prize.
