Celebrating its 34th year, the 2025 Philadelphia Film Festival (PFF) will run from Oct. 16 to 26. The event will highlight the latest documentaries, films, and shorts across multiple city venues, including the newly renovated Film Society Center, the Film Society Bourse, and Film Society East.

More than 100 films will be showcased throughout the 11-day festival. Additional highlights include the opening film, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, featuring Rian Johnson and starring Daniel Craig, Kerry Washington, and Glenn Close.

The festival will also feature eight centerpiece films. They include Bugonia with Emma Stone, Eternity starring Elizabeth Olsen, Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, and others like Hamnet and Rental Family.

Philadelphia native Bradley Cooper will also get his turn in the spotlight. The festival will screen his latest directorial project, Is This Thing On?, which centers on Will Arnett as a divorcé who resorts to stand-up comedy, but things don't go according to plan.

Sports fans won't want to miss an early screening on Oct. 21 of the upcoming three-part docuseries Allen Iv3rson, a look at the 76ers' star point guard executive produced by Shaquille O'Neal and Stephen Curry.

Tickets are available at the venues and online. Prices range from $12 for Philadelphia Film Society members to $50 for special event admissions. For those who want to view multiple films, a PFF badge offers priority admission, access to the Festival Lounge, and other benefits. Prices for the badges range from $75 to $500.
