Atlantic City is expanding its annual parade with a new offering for this holiday season. A holiday market will be available at the parade's end, featuring local vendors, festive treats, and seasonal refreshments for families.
The holiday market will take place at O'Donnell Memorial Park after the parade. Market guests can find local artisans, hot chocolate, handcrafted gifts, and holiday bites.
According to SNJ Today, parade organizers have made several changes to accommodate the market's addition this year:
- The event date has been moved to Saturday, Dec. 13, to allow more time to incorporate the market and enhance the holiday celebration.
- The start time remains 4:30 p.m., but the event will now unfold in twilight, showcasing glowing floats, lights, performances, marching bands, community groups, local businesses, and special guests.
- The parade route will run along Atlantic Avenue from South Carolina Avenue to Albany Avenue, with City Hall serving as the staging area.
- An event rain date is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 14.
Residents and visitors can register to participate, enter a parade float, or become market vendors at the holiday parade by contacting the City of Atlantic City Special Events Office at 609-347-5823 or visiting Atlantic City's website for the registration forms.
