The Dutch Wonderland Inn is opening soon in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, replacing the former Cartoon Network Hotel. The Cartoon Network Hotel operated from 2020 until closing on Jan. 1 after its contract ended, making way for the new Dutch Wonderland Inn.

Local Story: 'Tires' Starts Season 3 Filming in Philadelphia Area

A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce is planned for Wednesday, March 25. The inn will celebrate a grand-opening weekend beginning on Saturday, March 28, the same day Dutch Wonderland Theme Park opens for the 2026 season, according to a WGAL 8 report.

Located at 2285 Lincoln Highway East, the hotel will feature 155 rooms, four suites, and a new restaurant, Penley's Kitchen. Additional guest amenities include the following:

  • An expanded arcade
  • A heated indoor pool open year-round
  • An outdoor pool with a water slide and splash pad
  • Daily breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner options

Park characters Duke the Dragon and Princess Brooke will make appearances at the hotel, enhancing the family-friendly experience.

According to an LNP | LancasterOnline report, the inn's hotel room rates start at $149.99 per night. The packages including three Dutch Wonderland tickets start at $229.99 per night until May 17 and $314.99 per night from May 22 through Sept. 6.
