Contest Rules

1. WXTU-FM Trips Under The Tree On Air GiveawayOFFICIAL CONTEST RULESThese rules apply to the Trips Under The Tree On Air Giveaway Contest (“Contest”) conducted by Beasley Media Group, LLC d/b/a WXTU-FM (“Station”). In addition, the General Contest Rules posted at 925xtu.com apply to this Contest. If there is a conflict between the General Contest Rules and the Rules for this Contest, the Rules for this Contest shall control.  
   1. HOW TO ENTER
   1. The Contest will begin on Monday, November 11, 2024 and end on Friday, December 4, 2024.
   1. To enter, listen to the Station each weekday beginning on Monday, November 11, 2024 and ending on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at approximately 8:00am Eastern Time (“ET”), 12:00pm ET, and 4:00pm ET for the announcement of a unique Contest keyword (“Keyword”). Each announcement will have a unique Keyword.  Once an entrant hears the Keyword, entrant may enter via the following method:
   1. Visit 925xtu.com and follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Station's Privacy Policy. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator.
   1. Only one (1) entry per person per Keyword is permitted, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entrants are not permitted to use multiple email addresses. The deadline to enter each Keyword is fifteen (15) minutes after the Keyword is announced (i.e. 8:15am ET, 12:15pm ET, and 4:15pm ET). Any online entries received after the entry deadline or online entries with the incorrect Keyword will be disqualified.

    

   1. There will be up to a total of three (3) Grand Prize winners selected in the Contest.

    

   1. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

    

   1. This Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 25 years of age or older as of the date of entry into the Contest, who are legal US residents and reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, except where prohibited by law. Winners must possess a valid, government-issued ID and show proof of residency to verify eligibility.
   1. PRIZES

    

   1. Up to three (3) Prizes will be awarded. VISIT FLORIDA is providing four vacation packages for two to Orlando, Florida.

   Each vacation package includes:

   • Three (3) consecutive night stay at Orlando World Center Marriott
   • Two (2) Day Resort passes to Discovery Cove Orlando, including access to dining and amenities, plus a Signature Dolphin Swim Package for two
   • Round-trip coach class airline tickets for one (1) winner and up to one (1) guest to Orlando International Airport
   • A midsize rental vehicle for four (4) consecutive days

    

   The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of each package is $3,400.00. The total ARV of all prizes is $13,600.00.

    

   Travel may be taken from the time that no travel restrictions, stay at home orders, quarantine orders, shelter in place orders, “safer at home” orders, or similar orders or recommendations are in effect at either the winner’s place of origin or destination and through December 15, 2025. Blackout dates may apply. Redemption instructions will accompany all certificates. The minimum age to book all elements of this prize package is 25.

   Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be sold or gifted, may not be redeemed for cash, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Extensions to expiration dates will not be granted. Prize packages do not include travel to the departure airport or to the hotel (except as specifically included), meals (except as specifically included), incidentals, tips, telephone calls, airline baggage fees, or any other personal expenses incurred during the winner’s stay. Airline and schedule are at the sole discretion of VISIT FLORIDA. Non-stop service may not be offered. The prize winner must be one of the passengers booked in the travel party. The winner and guest(s) must have all necessary photo identification and/or travel documents required for travel.

   Actual value may vary and any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded.  Certain travel restrictions may apply.  All other costs not specifically stated herein, including but not limited to those of, taxes, meals, tips and additional ground transportation, baggage fees, hotel room service, laundry service, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, and local and long-distance telephone calls are the responsibility of the winner.  Selection of airline, hotel, and airline seat location at sole discretion of Station and/or prize provider. Airline regulations apply. The winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents, including, without limitation, passports for international travel.  If applicable, the winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon hotel check in to cover any incidental expenses incurred during the winner’s stay.  Winner and guest must abide by all airline, hotel, and venue policies. The winner and guest must sign all required releases prior to booking of any travel.  If winner is unwilling or unable to travel on the dates specified, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to another winner at Station’s sole discretion. All travel is subject to availability and restrictions. If a prize-related event or travel is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, including for weather, or for any reason beyond the control of the Station and prize provider, their sole responsibility to the winner will be to award the remaining available elements of the prize(s) and no substitution or compensation will be provided for the unawarded elements of the prize(s).  No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. If winner chooses to take the trip without a guest, s/he will be awarded the prize elements for one person only, and the remainder of the prize will be forfeited without compensation. Winner understands that there are inherent risks involved in travel and that these risks may be present before, during and after the trip. In addition, winner and guest(s) should be aware of and comply with government guidelines regarding travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines before, during and after the trip.  Winner will be issued a 1099 for 2024, regardless of when the winner redeemed the prize trip.

    

   1. Prizes or prize certificates must be claimed at the office of the Station located at One Bala Plaza, Suite 401, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours. Prize or prize certificate must be claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. Failure to claim Prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to claim the Prize or prize certificate within the timeline provided in these Official Rules.
   1. SELECTION OF WINNERS
   1. Up to three (3) total Grand Prize winners will be selected as follows:

   Up to one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at approximately 7:30am ET on each of the following dates in a Station-conducted random drawing from all entrants who registered during the previous contesting period:

   Trip 1 - Contesting Period – Monday, November 11^th – Friday, November 15^th – Winner selected on Monday, November 18^th at 7:30am EST.

   Trip 2 - Contesting Period – Monday, November 18^th – Friday, November 22^nd – Winner selected on Monday, November 25^th at 7:30am EST

   Trip 3 - Contesting period – Monday, November 25^th – Wednesday, November 27^th; Monday, December 2^nd – December 4^th – Winner selected on Monday, December 9^th at 7:30am EST.

   If initially-selected Grand Prize winner does not answer the notification phone call on the first attempt, potential Grand Prize winner will be disqualified, and the Station will randomly select an alternate Grand Prize winner from all remaining combined text message and online entries received.

   Non-selected entries will not automatically rollover into any subsequent random drawings, if any. 

   1. Odds of winning depend on the number of online entries received for each random drawing.
   1. Entrants must listen to the Station for the Contest Keywords, but need not be present to win.
   1. Grand Prize winner must confirm acceptance of prize by 7:30am ET on the day of winning or risk disqualification and selection of an alternate Grand Prize winner (time permitting) in a random drawing of all remaining online entries received during the previous week.
   1. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.
   1. CONDITIONS
   1. The Station reserves the right to end any contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air and by publication at 925xtu.com.
   1. For website contests: By use of the Station’s website and by entering this Contest, entrants agree to the Station’s Terms of Service Agreement and to the use of Personal Information as stated in the Privacy Policy located at 925xtu.com.

    

   1. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Station, One Bala Plaza, Suite 401, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Station.
