A study by sleep doctors came up with 9 things  to or not do to get better sleep:
Don’t watch the news
Avoid working in bed
Don’t work out at night
Steer clear of tense conversations
Absolutely do not consume caffeine
Try to avoid drinking alcohol
Don’t use electronic devices (without a blue light filter)
Don’t keep the lights in their home turned up bright
Don’t spend a long time awake in bed
