A British choir has created a beautiful lullaby to help a PA girl suffering from ‘night terrors’ fall asleep.
Rick Kane, a music teacher and father, came across a video of the all-male choir Bristol Man Chorus and his daughters 5-year-old Roslyn and sister Evelyn have been big fans of the group ever since. When Roslyn began to have trouble sleeping due to nightmares, her dad knew exactly what to do.
He reached out to the group’s director Sam Burns to see if they could help his daughter through song. Buns immediately began creating a lullaby and the lyrics are simple but beautiful:
“Roslyn, Evelyn, sing goodnight / Roslyn, Evelyn, close your eyes / Sweetest dreams, all warm and bright / Roslyn, Evelyn, sing goodnight.”
Not only was it uplifting for the guys in the choir, but now she little Roslyn is sleeping a lot better.
