Tori Yorgey, a PSU Alum, is a nighttime reporter for a local station in West Virginia.
While reporting alone on a water main break at 11 pm on live TV, Yorgey was hit by an oncoming car. She fell to the ground but quickly stood back up to let everyone know she was okay. The driver got out of her car and checked on Yorgey as well.
This is not the first time that Yorgey has been hit by a car. In the video, she mentions that she was also hit by a vehicle at Penn State.
Yesterday was Yorgey’s last day at the station. She had already accepted a job in Pittsburgh before these events took place.
Tori Yorgey handled the situation professionally. Pittsburgh will be very lucky to have her.
