Nick Jonas is leaving The Voice and Blake Shelton had some interesting choice of words about it.
“I’m gonna miss Nick kind of like you’d miss a skin tag—you know what I mean?” Shelton told Entertainment Tonight after winning his eight crown on the show. “It was a part of you for a minute, but you know you need to get rid of it because it’s not working. That’s Nick to me.”
The 28-year-old will be replaced by Ariana Grande for the 21st season.
Grande will be joining John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Shelton on the judges panel.
Nick Jonas will be very busy with The Jonas Brothers going on tour starting the end of August. The Remember This Tour with special guest Kelsea Ballerini will have conflicted with the taping of The Voice.
The Voice is set to return to NBC this fall.
