Chris Lane and wife Lauren Bushnell have opposite tastes when it comes to baby names!
The future mother nixed one of her husbands “cool” baby name suggestions according to a recent People article.
“We’re actually still trying to figure out exactly,” Chris told Audacy’s Katie & Company this week (referring to a baby name). “We have a good idea of what it’s gonna be, but we haven’t for sure settled on it yet… As far as names go that didn’t make the list, I know one off the top of my head.”
He went on to say, “At the time I was being super light-hearted, but at the same time I did really honestly think it was kind of cool but Lauren shot me down so fast. I threw out the name Rambo.”
Lauren immediately vetoed it. “She shot it down hard,” Lane shared. “I said imagine when he comes up to bat and they say ‘Rambo Lane,’ that sounds like he’s about to drop a bomb!… Rambo Lane, like how is he not going to win the tournament, you know?”
The country artist and former Bachelor contestant tied the knot it October 2019 and announced they were expecting in December 2020. In January 2021 they revealed their first born will be a son.
They’ll have to decide on a name soon because it seems Lauren is ready to give birth oh-so soon. “At this point it looks like it’s about to plop out of her,” shared Chris.
