A new U.S. News & World Report ranking has ranked seven New Jersey universities on the 2022 Best Global Universities list.

Harvard University topped the list that includes 1,700 universities from 90 countries. The rankings are calculated using 13 different factors including reputation and academic research performance.

The New Jersey universities that made the 2022 list are:

• Princeton University (#16)

• Rutgers-New Brunswick (#130)

• Rutgers-Newark (#600)

• New Jersey Institute of Technology (#813)

• Montclair State University (#1,167)

• Stevens Institute of Technology (#1,202)

• Rowan University (#1,607)
