Kenny Chesney spent his Saturday night in Philly playing his 10th sold out Lincoln Financial Field, or Eagles Stadium as he refers to it, and he did not miss a beat. Even after he cut his finger and required medical attention on-stage! (See that HERE)
But let’s not forget the show leading up to the show. There’s a reason a guy like Kenny is able to attract top-level artists to tour stadiums with him. He’s a good guy who treats his people well, whether they’re setting up his “Vibe Room” or taking the stage.

Carly Pearce
If you were at the show, you know it was windy and chilly and these frail folks from the south just aren’t used to this weather! (lol) One of Carly’s reps was freezing, so she was nice enough to offer her wardrobe. Now, I don’t know if you realize just how beautifully tiny Carly is, but there are few people who would be able to squeeze into a pair of her glittery shorts or shiny tops. Her rep replied, “the only think I can fit in would be your shoes.” To which Carly replied, “Oh, girl. You’re not wearing my shoes.”
Speaking of shoes … Carly is officially a member of “No Shoes Nation.” Did you notice when she came on-stage with Kenny she was barefoot?
Old Dominion
Hanging out with the guys from OD is like hanging with a bunch of guys you grew up with. They are their own party and when you’re with them, you feel like you’re invited. It’s the same when you watch them on-stage. They have a chemistry that’s part Animal House, part bro-mance.
Dan + Shay
My backstage experience really happened in the bowels of the Linc. There is a series of tunnels and rooms under the seats you’re sitting in and that’s where the magic is prepped before it hits the stage. Each artist does their best to make their little slice of the dungeon to reflect their vibe, but no one was as fresh as Dan+Shay. These guys smell AMAZING! So, any chance you get to get up close with either Dan or Shay, treat yourself.

What can I say about the king of the Sand Bar? This guy puts everything he has into his show because he cares that much. You hear him say it from the stage, but that’s not just an act. It truly is who he is. He knows you work your tail off every day all year long and his mission is to make sure you don’t have a worry in the world once he takes that stage.
