The Andie Summers Show

The nation is buzzing after Rihanna’s performance during last night’s halftime of Super Bowl 57 in Arizona. It was her first live performance in five years, and she didn’t hold back … completely. Rihanna was seen floating above the field on a suspended platform while she sang some of her greatest hits, like “Wild Thoughts,” “Work,” and “Diamonds.”

Many were wondering why she wasn’t dancing around like usual, and then it dawned on everyone …

She’s pregnant with baby #2! All rumors were put to rest when her reps officially confirmed the pregnancy after the performance.

Literally, while Rihanna was stirring things up with her performance, Darius Rucker took to social media to release his new song – which happens to be his own version of Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up.” It’s the Oscar-nominated theme song for the film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” The release just so happens to occur the same time as Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show!

“I’ve been a huge fan of comics since I was a kid, and…I was so moved by this song playing at the end of the movie and I felt inspired to try my hand at singing it,” Rucker shared in a statement.

Rucker says he hopes his fans “love this version” as much as he does. This latest releases comes as Rucker is finishing up his next album “Carolyn’s Boy,” due out later this year.
