Here is a list of Donnie’s Top 10 Favorite Brenda Fraser Movies!

Brendan Fraser just won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the movie The Whale.  I feel like he has not ben heard from for like 10 years.

I am looking at his IMDB page and he has been steadily working but I haven’t heard of any thing he has been in.  I’m hearing really good things about the movie “The Whale.”  I’ve seen a few trailers and a couple scenes and I can tell just by watching a few of those, he is amazing in that role.

When Brendan Fraser was in Philadelphia in 2010 promoting his movie “Extraordinary Measures.” he stopped by the radio station 95.7 BEN FM (I was working there at the time) and did an interview.  I was lucky enough to talk with him for a few minutes and he could not have been nicer.  He is a big fan of film so we spoke about some of our favorite movies and what movies made him want to be an actor.  I even got to see a screening of the movie “Extraordinary Measures” and it was fantastic.  It’s based on a true story and you definitely want to check it out.  It also co-stars Harrison Ford who is one of Brendan Fraser’s acting idols.

Fraser

I have been a fan of Brendan Fraser for quite a while even though he has put out some extremely cheesy movies, I am still a fan. Here are a few of my favorite Brendan Fraser movies.

  • The Mummy

There are like 100 of these movies but the first Mummy movie was fantastic!

  • Airheads

My all-time favorite Brendan Fraser movie! He stars along side Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi as bandmates who take an entire radio station hostage so they can have their songs played on the air.

  • Encino Man

The cheesiest of the cheesiest but still a cult classic.  Who doesn’t love Pauly Shore LOL!

  • School Ties

Pretty cool movie that includes Brendan, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Chris O’Donnell, Cole Hauser.

  • Extraordinary Measures

Based on a true story… A very good movie that also stars Harrison Ford.

  • George Of The Jungle

It’s a pretty bad movie but I enjoyed it.

  • Blast From The Past

Another cheesy movie but it’s a typical 90’s movie and I love it!  Oh and I love Alicia Silverstone!

  • The Scout

This won’t make anyone’s top baseball movies but it’s still fun.

  • Crash

This is a REALLY good movie!  The ensemble cast is spectacular:  Matt Dillon, Don Cheadle, Sandra Bullock, Tony Danza, Terrence Howard, Michael Pena, Ryan Phillipe, and directed by Paul Haggis.

  • Bedazzled

Okay, this is a bad movie. A really bad movie but I kinda still like it, probably because Elizabeth Hurley is in it and she’s pretty easy on the eyes.
