The birth of MTV aka Music Television happened on this day 41 years ago.  Remember when MTV played music videos constantly?  Those were the days.

Now, you won't see a music video on the channel but you will find shows like Jersey Shore, Siesta Key, and do they still air The Real World?

MTV had soo many classic shows back in the day that we still talk about to this day... The Headbangers Ball, Yo! MTV Raps, Remote Control, Dial MTV, and Club MTV.

Then came... Daria, Beavis & Butthead, Jack@$$, Celebrity Deathmatch, MTV Cribs, and Total Request Live.

MTV just isn't the same anymore.  Let's throw it back to the beginning... the launch of one of the television channels ever.  Do you remember the first music video played on MTV?  That question always pops up in quizzo or other trivia games all the time.

Let's reflect...
