Is Katy Perry out? Well, as people continue to get eliminated on “American Idol,” rumors are spreading that Katy Perry could be the next to go. An insider revealed to Radar Online that many fans are so angry over the way Perry treats contestants that producers are considering replacing her.

A source close to the situation says,

“Katy has come under fire for harsh comments in the past, and now fans are upset over the way she humiliated a singing duo.”

They added,

“She demanded they perform before they’d had a chance to rehearse and then blasted their work as ‘underwhelming’ in front of a national audience!”

The latest controversy comes on the heels of the scandal involving singer Sara Beth Liebe. The 25-year-old mother of three quit gained fame by calling out Katy Perry for “mom-shaming” and then dropping out of the show. (scroll down to see Katy’s comments)

If Sara Beth is out, is Katy Perry out of American Idol?

The judges were disappointed in Sara’s decision, calling it a mistake. Perry even jumped in to mend fences with the young singer saying,

“I know life is scary. I also know that it’s easier to walk away than to be rejected, but then I also know that you lose out on your fullest potential. I know you love your family, your kids; I know that as a mother. But self-love is just as big as motherly love. Don’t leave the competition.”

The judges even revealed they were about to send Sara Beth through to the next round based on her “Roxanne” performance. Sadly, it wasn’t enough to make Sara Beth stay.

What does this say about Katy Perry? What does it say about the producers? We don’t have all the answers, but you can see how it all happened below and come to your own conclusion. Should Katy Perry stay or should she be fired from American Idol? (btw – wait until you see how much she makes -below-!)
