Just like everything else, The Addams Family is being remade into a Netflix series called "Wednesday." I thought Christina Ricci would come back and renew her character but they decided to keep the character young.
Vanity Fair released the first look of the new cast and you may be surprised by some of the choices. The series will hit Netflix later this year and Tim Burton will serve as executive producer and also direct 4 of the episodes.
Let's take a look at the cast of the show "Wednesday...."
Wednesday (Jenna Ortega)
You may know Jenna Ortega for her role in in the CW show Jane The Virgin, and she also played Ellie in season 2 of the Netflix thriller "You."
Puggsly (Isaac Ordonez)
Isaac Ordonez appeared in the movie A Wrinkle In Time but other than that, he's pretty new. He definitely looks the part!
Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones)
Catherine Zeta-Jones has her hands full following Carolyn Jones and Anjelica Huston but Catherine is a phenomenal actress and can totally pull this off.
Gomez (Luis Guzman)
Now, this is the tricky one. I always thought Gomez was supposed to be a rich handsome man. I'm not calling Luis Guzman ugly but he has a distinct voice and I can't see it fitting. I hope he proves me wrong.
