Where to go for college is a really touch decision, and this time of year is ripe for stressed out seniors to pour over their options. WalletHub has just come out with their 2023 College & University Rankings. The list ranks the top performing schools with the lowest costs to undergrads. The site looked at 900 colleges and universities, judging them on 30 key factors in the following categories:
- Cost & Financing
- Career Outcomes
- Student Selectivity
- Campus Experience
- and more.
Topping the list of the best overall institution is Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which scores a 82.14 out of 100. MIT tops the list for student selectivity, lands at seven for education outcomes, and six for faculty resources. But, let's face it. MIT ain't cheap. Of all the 900 institutions examined, MIT lands at 723 for cost and financing. CHA-CHING!
