Prank Gone Wrong – Lesson Learned To NOT Prank Your Boss

Hi, my name is Shannon, and I'm the Assistant Producer for The Andie Summers Show on 92.5 XTU. I would consider myself a typical goofball who loves to pull a good, harmless prank on my friends, family, and co-workers. April Fool's Day is MY day. The key to pulling a successful prank for the holiday is to cheat the system and execute it a few days before the date, which is exactly what Andie Summers and I did.

Our Program Director, Razz on the Radio, is impossible to scare. We have tried MANY times to make him jump, but we come up flat every time. If you don't know Razz, he is a kind soul with an infectious laugh. He is the type of person that thinks before he acts, which is why we have been unsuccessful in our tom-foolery.

Andie and I came up with a solid plan to get him this year. I will go into the studio acting nonchalantly when I suddenly scream in the room's silence. And I did exactly that. It should've worked, right? WRONG. What I was left with was a pure look of disgust and confusion on my boss's face.

It turns out that the prank was turned around on me because I was truly embarrassed by my failed attempt and the fear that my boss would never look at me the same way again. You got me good, Razz!
