The Andie Summers Show

Weekdays 5:30AM-10AM

It’s The Andie Summers Show’s Car Line Karaoke!

You have probably seen James Corden and his Carpool Karaoke and how funny and awesome it is.

The Andie Summers Show wanted to switch it up.  We know lots of kids are heading back to school and lots of those kids are car riders.  Car rides to school may be short but car lines tend to get pretty long.

We wanted to hear the singing voices in those car lines. Country has a ton of great karaoke songs as well so this fits perfectly!

Take a look at some of the country songs we chose for YOU to sing to.  Mom, dad, grandma, guardian, aunt, or whoever is driving the kids to school can participate in Car Line Karaoke. We want you to grab some video of you and your carload singing one of the songs below and upload the video at the bottom of the page.  We will pit the best of the best against each other and one lucky winner will win a pizza party for their entire class!

So which one are you going to be pick? Garth Brooks’ “Friends In Low Places,” Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried,” Carrie Underwood and her song “Before He Cheats,” how about the ballad “Need You Now” by Lady A?  How about the classic duet featuring Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett  when they did “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere?”

Do you have what it takes to take on “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton or how about the Luke Combs cover of “Fast Car,” or even Jelly Roll’s “Need A Favor??”

These are all fantastic choices and some are really tough to pull off, but we have faith in XTU Nation!

Do you think you and your car have the best karaoke-singing voice?

Let’s see it!

One lucky winner will win a pizza party for their class, thanks to our friends at DHY Motorsports – Go fast, Go now, Go to DHY Motorsports.

  • Garth Brooks "Friends In Low Places"

Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in bootsAnd ruined your black tie affairThe last one to know, the last one to showI was the last one you thought you’d see there
And I saw the surprise and the fear in his eyesWhen I took his glass of champagneAnd I toasted you, said, “Honey, we may be throughBut you’ll never hear me complain”
‘Cause I’ve got friends in low placesWhere the whiskey drowns and the beer chases my blues awayAnd I’ll be OKYeah, I’m not big on social gracesThink I’ll slip on down to the oasisOh, I’ve got friends in low places
  • Zac Brown Band "Chicken Fried"

I dug my key into the side (into the side)Of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel driveCarved my name into his leather seatsI took a Louisville slugger to both headlights (both headlights)Slashed a hole in all four tiresMaybe next time, he’ll think before he cheats
  • Lady A "Need You Now"

It’s a quarter after oneI’m all alone and I need you nowSaid I wouldn’t call, but I lost all controlAnd I need you nowAnd I don’t know how I can do withoutI just need you now
Another shot of whiskyCan’t stop looking at the doorWishing you’d come sweeping in the way you did beforeAnd I wonder if I ever cross your mindFor me it happens all the time
It’s a quarter after oneI’m a little drunk and I need you nowSaid I wouldn’t call, but I lost all controlAnd I need you nowAnd I don’t know how I can do without
    I just need you now
