The Greatest Potato Chip Brands Ever Ranked

Today is National Potato Chip Day so I thought I would rank the greatest brands ever

It is a quality snack, an amazing lunch side, and just an all around great food especially for game days.

Walking down the chip aisle in a grocery store can sometimes give me anxiety because of all the options.  This list will only include potato(corn) brands so pretzels, cheese doodles, Funyuns, crackers, etc... are all out.  I included corn chips as well.

Maybe I will do another list with the top snacks in the chip aisle but for right now I am ranking the Greatest Potato Chip Brands Ever!

(Honorable Mention: Munchos)

This isn't my favorite chip brand but it still makes the list. They are a little too hard of a chip so I always have to crush them up and put them in my sandwich.

Ruffles, Lay's, Herr's, and UTZ are pretty much the same but if I had to pick an order that I would put them in... UTZ would come up short.  It's not my go-to chip but if it's the only chip brand there, I am not disappointed!

Now here is a chip brand that doesn't get much love. I don't eat Sun Chips on the regular but when I do, I am happy I made the choice.  I never think about Sun Chips when I am going into the chip aisle.

I am big fan of the Ruffle's chips. My only complaint would be that they seem saltier than the others.  Love the ridged chip so this makes the top 10.

The only problem I have with Lay's is that they tend to crumble pretty easily.  Other than that, I love a good Lay's chip.

OMG these are so delicious.  The amount of salt limits my Frito intake though.  If Frito's are present, you bet your bottom dollar I will be devouring them.

This is where it gets tricky.  I love a good Pringle but I don't eat them with a sandwich.  They are more of a by them self snack.  Great packaging, great taste.

This was the brand that was always in my house when I was a kid.  My mom and I both will go to town on a bag of Wise chips during lunch.  Quality chip!

Herr's BBQ Chips are an all-time favorite.  Herr's is a local company so I had to make them top 3.

Who doesn't love Tostito's?  They are the perfect nacho chip.  The only thing that keeps them from the #1 spot is that you have dip these in salsa, cheese, guacamole, or some other dip to make it better.  Dorito's are perfect just the way they are.  Tostito's still a quality chip brand!

By far the #1 answer for me.  Dorito's are good at any time of the day. You can't go wrong with the regular Nacho Cheese flavor but Cooler Ranch Dorito's could possibly be the greatest invention next to the telephone.
