We are lucky in Philadelphia to have some iconic places, and Boathouse Row is definitely at the top of the list. However, the lights on Boathouse Row are going out for a few months, but it’s actually a good thing.
Here are the details. It’s hard to pick what are the most ionic places in Philly, but we’ll try.
From NBC10: The project will begin on March 20 and is projected to last for most of the rest of 2023. Recent outages and rising maintenance costs have prompted the need for a full replacement of the lights along the Schuylkill River. The new lighting system will include 6,400 individual LED lights with 16 million color combinations.
