I (Donnie) was doing some research on things that happened on today's date in history and stumbled upon birthdays.  Every day of the year has a certain celebrity's birthday or a National Day of the Year.  I know I share a birthday with Tina Turner and Joe Nichols. National Cake Day is also celebrated on my birthday as well.  Not sure where they got that from but oh well, Let Them Eat Cake!

I saw a list of today's birthdays and realized it may be the most random birthdays by musicians ever.  It spans from oldies, to boy bands, to rap, to reggae, to soft-rock, to super weird pop music.

Take a look at the list of artists who celebrate birthdays on October 17th!

Jim Seals

One half of the duo Seals & Crofts... Jim Seals passed away this past June but he and his buddy Dash put out some awesome tunes in the 70's.

Gary Puckett

He had and probably still has an incredible voice.  He and his band the Union Gap put out tons of hits in the 60's and 70's!

Alan Jackson

You can't talk about 90s country without mentioning this man.  He is one of the all timers!

René Dif

You are probably like "Who The Heck Is This?"  Well, you remember the song "Barbie Girl?"  Yeah, he is the lead male vocalist for that group called Aqua.

Ziggy Marley

Ziggy is the oldest of Bob Marley's sons and MAN... Did he ever live up to his dad?!?!

Wyclef Jean

A member of the hip hip trio The Fugees, Wyclef went solo and was super successful.

Chris Kirkpatrick

He is best known and probably only known as a member of N'Sync...

Eminem

The highest selling rapper of all time. Marshall Bruce Mathers a.k.a. Slim Shady a.k.a Evil a.k.a Eminem turns 50 today!
