Jeff is the newest member of The Andie Summers Show here on 92.5 XTU! Before moving to Philly, Jeff and his wife lived in Las Vegas. During the COVID shutdown, the service industry was hit so hard, furloughs and layoffs, closings and shutdowns, it was really tough.

And Jeff, while living in Las Vegas, the service industry capital of the country, wanted to do something special for those that were struggling with his own rendition of the Venmo Challenge!

Many users on TikTok and Instagram took to this during the shutdown in order to do good for others. Users ask their followers to donate what they can (as little as $1) but there is power in numbers. Many followers working together in order to do good to others, so special!

  One of the best reactions was this single mom receiving $1,000 cash at a Cracker Barrel to help her out! At the time, her daughter was doing school from home so she had to take LESS shifts thus making LESS money to provide for her family.

  Jeff had been in this gas station before and had an incredible interaction with this man. After getting some crowdfunding, he was able to raise some money for this amazing grandpa!

• How About When Venmo Caught Wind Of This?

  That’s right, the cash exchanging app, Venmo, caught wind of what Jeff was doing and decided to send him a bit of a donation as well!

• And The BIG ONE! A Christmas Venmo Challenge

  Well, if you want a tear in your eye, continue watching here. Pretty amazing, Jeff and his followers were able to pay for a mom’s bill who was living in a hotel with her three boys. She had just recently left an abusive relationship and was trying to get on her feet but her husband at the time wasn’t signing any papers and she had no home for the holidays.
