If you're on the dating scene you've probably thought about the top 10 worst places to go on a first date. I'm sure your experience has led you to a few on this list, but do you agree with all of them?

One of the things I love most about this survey is that it's taken by Tombola. Tombola is a BINGO site in the UK. Now, I don't know who plays bingo in the UK, but if it were here in the States I would think the survey would have been taken by senior citizens. If that's the case here, then I give them a lot of credit for coming up with some great answers. Number 9 is a doozy!

The number one answer seems logical, although as you scroll through the list I'm sure you'll find the answers to be more and more cringe-worthy. Is there anything worse than being treated to fast food on your first date? Maybe going dutch. How about hanging out at home? I think being taken to your date's parents' house might be worse than that. Honestly, I didn't think there's a worst first date ... but then I read on.

Take a look at what people in the UK said were the absolute worst places to go on a first date - and really take note. Whether you're in the dating world, have a friend who is, or if you'e like me and have kiddos who are about to embark on dating and trying out a new relationship, these are great tips for everyone. Whether you're from the UK or the US.

1. Going to the movies

Movies got 2,361 votes. While a movie is fun, it's not an ideal date when you're trying to get to know someone for the first time.

2. McDonald's

Micky D's got 1,561 votes. I'm not sure how I feel about fast food for a first date. It's non-committal and I think it gives you an idea of what your date is really like. Do they order the salad or a Big Mac. McDonalds might actually be a great first date.

3. Staying Home

Staying home got 790 votes. It just seems like a cop-out. And if I don't know you, I don't want to hang out in your house ... without witnesses.

4. Going to a Parent's House

Going to a parent's house got 522 votes. I mean, wow. Who takes a date to their parents house?! Naw, braw. That's a huge red flag.

5. Visiting a Restaurant

Visiting a restaurant got 476 votes. I will say visiting a restaurant is just mean if you're not going to eat there.

6. Going to a Bar/Pub

Going to a bar or pub got 471 votes. I guess it's the kind of bar or pub. No watering holes, please.

7. Swimming

Ew. Swimming got 383 votes. WHO GOES SWIMMING ON A FIRST DATE?!?!

8. Watching a Football (Soccer) Match

Going to see a soccer game got 311 votes. I would have to agree. If you're serious about your sports you don't want to have to entertain someone while watching a game.

9. Attending a Funeral

O. M. G. WHAAAAA????

Attending a funeral got 218 votes. I wouldn't have even thought of that which makes me think 218 people who chose attending a funeral must have gone on a funeral first date before.

No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

10. Going to a Park

Now this is one that I 100% agree with. Going to a park, by the way, receive 196 votes. I went on a first date to a park once. The guy parked, got his guitar out of the back (of the van) and proceeded to sing Hotel California to me. I can't hear that song till this day.
