Dancing with the Stars premiered June 2005, which is so insane to think it's been on TV for almost 20 years! Dancing with the Stars made some headlines last season when they moved from ABC to Disney+. To be honest, I was very disappointed. It wasn't a show I necessarily watched with intent, but it was nice to have on in the background on a Monday night while scrolling through your phone. Ha.
It was announced last week that Tyra Banks was leaving as the host for next season. She has a company and is a mom so I'm assuming she was ready for a new challenge.
Check out the details about who the new host(s) will be. Seasons 32 should start this summer.
Tom Bergeron Was the Original DWTS Host Through 2019
Along with Lisa Canning in Season one
Then Samatha Harris Seasons Two Through Nine
Then Brooke Burke Seasons 10 Through Seventeen
Erin Andrews Season Eighteen Through Twenty-Eight
Then Tyra Took Over Hosting Alone Seasons 29 and 30
Alfonso Ribeiro Joined Tyra in Season 31
Julianne Hough Will Be the Host of Season 32
Along with Alfonso.
