Not sure if it was fun or crazy, but whatever it was, I did it! My friends and I wanted to do a "winter activity" over MLK Weekend, and since we are from the Poconos we thought it would be sledding or ice skating, but since there was no snow and the lake wasn't frozen, we weren't sure what we were going to do. Until I said, how about our own polar plunge? I've done it once before, and it was freezing, but still fun. My friend Diane has a house in a lake community so it was an easy setting. Now, last week it was warm, but on Saturday it was 25, no sun, and snowing. What a day to choose to do it. Have you ever done one?
The First Time I Plunged
I did it on a frozen lake as a fund raiser for my High School. They literally cut a hole in the ice for us to jump!
