What Works Best On A Dating Profile: Donnie’s Takeover
Assistant Producer Shannon on The Andie Summers Show needs a dating profile makeover. She’s been on the apps before and experimented with different photos and prompts. Now, we’re helping her figure out what works best. We don’t need our girl to get more matches, rather we want her to get quality matches. How do we achieve that? It’s time for The Andie Summers Show to step in.
What Is Hinge?
Let’s start with what a Hinge profile looks like. Below, you’ll find the layout of the dating app, Hinge. To complete your profile, you must include 6 photos and 3 prompts of your choosing. You can also add in a voice message or a poll. Other users can then like or comment on specific photos or prompts. Unlike Bumble or Tinder, you cannot just “like” the whole profile. Once someone likes or comments on something specific from my profile, you’ll get a notification for a new like. From there, you have the option to respond or reject that person based on their profile. Hinge is the app designed to be deleted, so hopefully the rest is your future love story.
Why I (Donnie) Will Win This
I started dating my wife back in 2013 before all of these dating apps were popular. I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to dating apps but I do have an idea what a dude would like. Shannon is like my little sister so going through her pictures and trying to find good ones that guys will like is a little creepy to me. Oh well, I have to win this thing for bragging rights so it has to be done.

Shannon loves to travel and just recently went to Ireland and England. She went with her family and they had such a blast exploring countries across the pond. The one thing that was missing was a travel buddy. She loves her family to death but having a cool guy to experience new things with her would be cool.

Shannon is a big proponent of pet adoption and I think everyone should be. She spends her free time volunteering at a local animal shelter called “Philadoptables.”

This is a little bit of a humble brag but we work for a country radio station. We get to attend many concerts and other cool events around the city. I want someone who… can hang on the couch with me and watch SNL but also be down to go out and party.I know Shannon loves her Saturday Night Live. She likes the best of both worlds. She can chill at home but she also knows every bar in the city.

I hope you can handle a girl that likes to drink beer! Believe me, I’ve seen Shannon drink a nice Cab but give her a pint of a good IPA and she is set!

All I ask is that you treat me just like you would treat your mother.What girl doesn’t want a guy that has the same traits as her father. A guy that treats their mom with a ton of respect is a turn-on (That is my wife told me!)

2 years ago, Shannon got to attend the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville. She told me it was an awesome experience getting to bar hop throughout Nashville, meet some really cool people in the music industry and just take in the whole award show experience. She was allowed to have a plus 1… That could have been YOU!
