All New Jersey Shoppers & Employees Required to Wear Face Coverings
Governor Phil Murphy announced an executive order that would limit the number of people allowed in stores at a certain time and all customers and employees must wear face coverings in grocery stores and other essential retail businesses.
Additionally, customers & employees must wear face coverings. Stores must also provide special shopping hours for high-risk individuals, erect physical barriers between customers and cashiers and baggers where practicable, regularly sanitize areas used by their employees, & more.

The CDC announced late last week that wearing a cloth covering in public can help prevent asymptomatic carriers from spreading the coronavirus to others. They recommend the use of a cloth mask or cloth covering that is available and to save N95 masks for healthcare workers.
Governor Murphy is also ordering store to create barriers between customers and cashiers as well as regularly sanitize areas.
