Group of Neighbors Throw Their UPS Driver a Thank You Party, Give Him $1,000
A Pennsylvania UPS driver was moved to tears when his community threw him a “thank you party” while gifting him $1,000.
Chad Turns, a UPS driver in Dauphin, Pennsylvania has been working extremely hard over the past year to make sure all of his deliveries are received on time. Turns always has a positive attitude even when working up to 70 hours a week.
In a way to show appreciation, a group of neighbors threw him a surprise “party”.
Jenny Shickley created a group on Facebook to help organize the special “party” and the local UPS and dispatch helped make it happen.
The office sent him on a “very important delivery” that would ensure he’d see the event, according to reports.
Once Turns stepped out of his vehicle he was greeted with a big “thank you” card covered in loving messages.
“Thank you,” Turns is heard saying in the video. “You guys are really good to me. I appreciate everything that you guys are doing. I don’t know what else to say.”
