Taylor Swift was in LBI for Jack Antonoff's wedding. What a thrill!
People came from all over to see Taylor Swift in LBI (Long Beach Island, New Jersey) this weekend, but she wasn't there for a concert. Taylor was one of the many celebrities in attendance at the wedding of Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley.
Who is Jack Antonoff?
Antonoff is the lead singer of the band Bleachers, and was the drummer for the band fun. He also produced a slew of Taylor Swift's albums. The two have been friends for a long time, and share many friends, too! Many of their mutual acquaintances were in attendance over the weekend including:

But you can imagine, with all those celebrities, there was a crowd!
Let's face it. The crowd was there to see Taylor Swift. Everyone else was gravy.
How did locals feel about Taylor Swift in LBI?
There were mixed reviews as to whether or not the throngs of Swifties were a problem. According to app.com, one woman said there were a lot of teenage girls jumping up and down and screaming, but no big deal.
Others, like the fishermen who participated in a fishing tournament that weekend, said it was a holy mess. The crowd and the security - just too much for their liking.
Why LBI for the wedding?
Many people (haters and fans alike) are asking why (on earth) would a successful celebrity like Jack Antonoff get married on the Jersey Shore. The answer is quite simple. Antonoff grew up in New Milford and Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, and said he spent his summers in LBI. It seemed like a no-brainer.
Controversy!
One of the attendees, Lana Del Rey, wore a white dress to the wedding. No, Del Rey wasn't the bride, so...was this a major faux pas?
