Morgan Wallen breaks silence after his Nashville arrest earlier this month after allegedly throwing a chair off of a roof. He was arrested on three felony charges.

"I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility," the country star wrote on X Friday (April 19).

Morgan Wallen Breaks Silence On Arrest, Ensures Tour Will Go On

The "Last Night" singer adds, "I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change."

He was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, according to court records obtained by PEOPLE.

At the time of his arrest, his attorney Worrick Robinson, provided a statement that the singer was obeying police orders "At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct," the statement reads per the publication. "He is cooperating fully with authorities."

Wallen faced a $15,250 bond, and is due in Nashville court on May 3 for "settlement."

As for the tour, Wallen is bringing along Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson Bailey Zimmerman, Jon Pardi, Nate Smith, Bryan Martin, Lauren Watkins and Ella Langley as some of his openers throughout the One Night at a Time tour.

The tour is in support of his latest album One Thing at a Time which was released last year. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He spoke to Entertainment Tonight on how music has always given him "sort of healing."

"Music has always spoke to me in a different way than anything else. I'm not always great at talking or giving speeches, [but] music has just always communicated to me in the strongest way possible," he told the publication.

He also spoke about how the media perceives him, "I'm doing the best I can, I truly do care about what people think of me. I want to be viewed as a good man."
