Bake My Day is now open at Minion Land in Universal Studios! Bake My Day is an adorable pink bakery that features lots of Minion-related sweet treats that are not only adorable but delicious as well! You cannot miss it as you enter Minion Land - look for the giant, pink cupcake!
Everything in there from the desserts to the merchandise, matches the adorable pink and pastel theme. All the desserts come perfectly chilled to take on the hot Florida heat. When you first take a bite of literally anything in there, not only does it take your tastebuds on a sweet ride, but it refreshes them too! From everything banana to PB&J, I put myself into a sugar coma so I could give you the inside scoop. Here are my top 5 MUST-TRY desserts from Bake My Day!

1. Banana Swiss Roll at Minion Land in Universal Studios
Not only is this the cutest Minion treat I have ever seen in my life, but if you wanted a banana you got it! Just the smell alone is how you know they did NOT hold back on the banana flavor. The cake is banana flavored with the icing being a light and fluffy vanilla buttercream. It is the perfect combination as the icing isn't too sweet, but it's enough for the perfect contrast between cake and icing. This is an absolute MUST if you like bananas (and Swiss Rolls!)

2. Evil Minion Cupcake at Minion Land in Universal Studios
When I saw how highly stacked the icing was on this cupcake, I knew this was an immediate buy. The worker informed me the flavor was PB&J and I think I started to jump up and down. Let me tell you, it was not what I was expecting. I tried the mound of icing first and was very shocked to find out that the purple icing was in fact grape flavored! The cupcake is this super dense vanilla cupcake with a peanut butter and marshmallow filling. Yes, marshmallow! It was something that I was not expecting, but was not disappointed!

3. Cotton Candy Mini Whoopie Pie at Minion Land in Universal Studios
Not only are the colors on this whoopie pie extra vibrant but so are the flavors! It is a pink and blue whoopie pie with the fluffy unicorn lying atop a pastel rainbow. For being cotton candy flavored, this whoopie pie is not too sweet and packs an amazing punch of flavor. I truly felt like I was eating a cotton candy sandwich! The other flavors include birthday cake, raspberry lemon, and chocolate.

4. Passion Fruit Macaron at Minion Land in Universal Studios
Of all the unique flavors of macarons I tried, the passion fruit one stuck out the most. The shell is baked perfectly and has an adorable picture of the fluffy unicorn on top of a macaron. The filling is where the passion fruit flavor comes from. I am not usually the biggest fan of passion fruit-flavored food so this one shocked me. When you first take a bite, it hits you with that refreshing blast from being in the chilled case, but then when that flavor hits, you want to melt. It had a really tropical taste to it which was perfect for walking around in the Florida heat.
The other notable flavors of macarons are bubblegum, chocolate pretzel, strawberry cheesecake, snickerdoodle, blueberry lemonade, and bananas foster.

5. Banana Cream Pie Cake Pop at Minion Land in Universal Studios
If you like bananas, this one's for you. This had to be the thickest and rich cake pop I have ever had. I shared this between two people and it still took us three different times to eat it (and I am not complaining, I just got to savor it for longer.) The banana taste smacks you in the face. In every bite you take, the banana flavor is very much prominent. The cake is coated in yellow-dyed white chocolate with a chocolate eye as well. The other cake pops I had were the PB&J Evil Minion and the Chocolate Banana Minion. They also took my taste buds on a rainbow ride!

Who am I kidding, at this point order one of everything!
7 Reasons To Do A Universal Orlando Resort VIP Tour Experience
Here are 7 reasons to do a VIP Tour Experience at Universal Orlando Resort.
Look, I know you may be thinking "Isn't that expensive?" Yes, it can be, but it all depends on your circumstances and how you look at it. If you only have a day or two to explore the entire Universal Orlando Resort, I would highly recommend looking into a VIP Tour Experience. This way you can ensure you get the most out of your visit.
With a VIP Experience guided tour, your guide is a Universal Orlando expert. They will escort you through the parks, give you some behind-the-scenes knowledge and history, and take you to attractions and rides. There is also much more to the VIP experience before, during, and after.
You can also choose if you want a VIP Tour Experience for Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure, or you can choose both! With a 1-Day, 2-Park Experience you get a seven-hour tour with priority entrance for a minimum of 10 rides. A 1-Day, 1-Park Experience is only a five-hour tour with priority access to eight rides. Your VIP Tour could include multiple parties in the same group.
If you want just an experience for your family there is also an option for a Private VIP Experience.
One thing to note, your VIP Tour purchase does not include park admission. So you will need to purchase separate theme park admission to go with your VIP Tour.
if you think you will want to do a VIP Tour Experience I highly suggest booking ASAP. They are for sale in the park at the front gates of the parks, but they often have limited availability and can sell out.
By the way, did you know that Universal Studios Orlando is a working studio? You may be walking by on your way to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and see a music video, TV show or commercial being filmed.
Thanks to Universal Orlando Resort, I was able to go on a VIP Tour Experience, and here are 7 reasons I found to do one the next time you visit Universal Orlando Resort.
You Can Choose To Do A Private VIP Experience
Your VIP Tour could include multiple parties in the same group, so if you want to do something with just your family you can choose a Private VIP Experience. Depending on how many people are in your group it may make more sense to book a VIP Experience or a Private VIP Experience and split the cost!

They Feed You!
Yes! A complimentary continental breakfast at Cafe La Bamba is included as well as lunch! If you get the Private VIP Tour Experience you also receive a full service dinner at a Universal Orlando Resort restaurant.

Did Someone Say Express Passes?
You will also get Universal Express Unlimited ride access throughout the rest of the day - even when your tour is over! That is a big saving right there!

Step Aside, Please
Did I mention that you get escorted onto your favorite rides? Like you go in the exit and walk right on. Your guide can even request where you sit on the ride. Oh, and you can ride it as many times as you want! Hint: request the front row of Jurassic World VelociCoaster and Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. I rode both of them twice, back-to-back. It was awesome.

Behind The Scenes Access
Your VIP Tour Experience guides know so many cool things about the parks. I learned so much from them about the movies the rides are based on and the Universal Lot. Plus, they can also take you places other guests can't access. We walked under the tracks of the Revenge Of The Mummy: The Ride, got to see the first scene of the Stranger Things Season 4 Haunted House (we were there during Halloween Horror Nights), then got to walk on the Immigration Floor at MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack.
We also got to go through the production office and see the screening room, hair and makeup, and all the productions that have been filmed on the lot.
