Adorable First Birthday For Jeff’s Daughter McKinley

The first birthday of my daughter McKinley was over the weekend and boy was it adorable and incredible!! She had an amazing time hanging out with all of her friends, people swam in the pool, laughed and cried, it was a really great time. Oh yeah, there was a pinata too!! It was just such a special weekend. I want to take a quick second to just express how amazing becoming a father has been. I remember hearing from parents before I became a dad, they would say things like "you don't know love until you hold your baby the first time." I would say "oh, I'm sure" but not really understand or believe it. Boy was I wrong. It's like I've grown another limb, another part of me. She is everything to my wife, Emily, and I. The fact that she is ONE is just crazy! Love her so much, Happy Birthday sweet girl!
