Oscars 2025 is a night not just to celebrate the best movies of the past year but also a night of glitz and glam. The stakes are high for these celebrities (and their stylists) to make sure they look their best or a misstep could land them on a list of “worst dressed celebrities” during the Academy Awards.

In 2025, the red carpet saw a refreshing blend of classic elegance, safe bets, and bold choices, with a few risk-takers who completely slayed. While some looked like they walked out of the old Hollywood era, others gave us fashion vibes that will be talked about for years to come. From soft pastels to attention-grabbing metallic gowns, and classic black suits to ones with a daring twist, the night had it all.

If there was one thing we learned during the awards season, it’s that they are no longer just a celebration of film—it’s also a night of internet-breaking style.

Mindy Kaling’s movie ‘Anuja’ is nominated for best original short film at the Oscars. She stepped out in a stunning metallic halter dress with feather detailing, which hugged her figure perfectly. She kept her accessories understated, opting for simple dangling earrings and a few bold statement rings. Her makeup and hairstyle were equally minimal, allowing the dress to take center stage.

With ‘Wicked’ racking up 10 nominations, Jeff Goldblum made a memorable entrance at the Oscars in a Prada suit that was anything but ordinary. He paired a white coat with sleek black pants, but what really caught attention was his floral dress shirt, black bow tie, and a stylish purple scarf detailing. He completed the look with a purple flower boutonniere.
