I received an email from a woman in Mount Laurel who will remain anonymous. She listens to XTU frequently and asked me for some advice. Here was her question:
Dear Andie,
My husband is still friends with his college girlfriend. He’s known her much longer than we’ve been together. The other day, he left his phone on the counter. I glanced over and saw that he ended a text message with XOXO. This made me mad even though I don’t think the two of them would ever get together and have an affair. I told my sister what my husband did. She says it’s a form of cheating and disrespectful. When I scrolled up, I saw that he ended another text message with a kissing lips emoji. Is this cheating? Am I being oversensitive? Can emojis be cheating?
