Emoji's have become part of our everyday vernacular and texting just wouldn't be the same without them.  There are very specific occasions for use and some that are one thing but mean another.  However, if you find yourself frequently using the “crying with laughter” emoji, you may want to reconsider.  Seems it's a millennial or older thing.  In fact, Gen Z has stopped using it because too may "older folks" use it.   In its place Gen Z is using a “skull” or “coffin” emoji to symbolize something so funny it caused them to “die” of laughter.
