The state with the naughtiest bachelor bachelorette parties is closer than you think!

I mean … it’s not cheating if it’s at the bachelor/bachelorette party, right?

If you ever had that conversation with your partner it turns out your concerns were justified. A new survey reveals some of the bad behavior that goes on at these events. I don’t blame you if you want to bail on this article right now.

You’re brave.

Let’s take a look at what kind of “frisky business” really happens at the parties. Bonusfinder.com polled 6-thousand people to find out who cheats on who the most, what they’re doing, and where they’re doing it. Things got real.

It’s not just the bride and groom that dip their toes in the “you only live once” pool. It’s actually the guests and not the guests of honor who are the biggest perpetrators of betrayal. Here’s what we found out:

A whole lotta folks are cheating:

• More than 70% admit to cheating on their partners while attending a bachelor or bachelorette party.
  • They defined cheating as anything from flirting or downloading a dating app to sexting to having sex with someone else.

What are they doing?

• The most common infidelities could be considered relatively minor, including kissing (21.3%) and getting a lap dance (33.1%).
• 11.2% of party attendees admit to having sex with someone else.
• 9% confess to having a threesome at a bachelor or bachelorette party.

Where is it happening?

This is the part that is most shocking. Here is a list of the states where the MOST amount of cheating is going on at bachelor and bachelorette parties …  number 1 is a SHOCKER!

• TIE 9. New Hampshire

  With the slogan “Live Free or Die,” maybe it’s no surprise New Hampshire is one of the top states for lewd activity.  80% of respondents getting nasty. But don’t blame the guys – 36% of this behaviour takes place at bachelor parties and 44% at bachelorette parties!

• TIE 9. Wyoming

  Also joining New Hampshire in ninth place is the beautiful state of Wyoming.

  Wyoming is a great destination for a family vacation with stunners like Yellowstone National Park; but now Wyoming can be known as one of the top places in the US for getting nasty!

  Of the 80.0%, these were divided equally between bachelor (40.0%) and bachelorette (40.0%) parties.

• 8. Ohio

  Maybe Ohio isn’t a huge destination for out of staters, but Ohioans seem to know how to have a good time, putting their state at number 8 on the list of the most nefarious states for bachelor and bachelorette parties. 83.3% of people admitted to pushing the boundaries at parties in Ohio – and a vast majority of them are WOMEN with 59% of women and only 21% of men claiming to do the deed in the Buckeye state.

• 7. South Dakota

  Whew! 81.3% of respondents in the state of South Dakota admitted to acting up at bachelor and bachelorette parties. 38.46% have gotten a lap dance and 23.08% have played strip poker!

• 6. Alabama

  Men and women are equal opportunity offenders in Alabama with 83.5% admitting to doing the dirty – 42.9% at bachelor parties, and 40.9% of misdeeds took place at bachelorette parties.

• TIE 4. New Mexico

  Blame it on the dry heat. New Mexico boasts an impressive 84.2% of respondents stepping out on their significant others. Before you start pointing fingers, exactly half of them are men at bachelor parties (42.1%) and half are women (42.1%).

• TIE 4. Rhode Island

  Like New Mexico, Rhode Island partiers get a little crazy, but this time you can blame the women with 47% of respondents claiming to get nasty at bachelorette parties.

• 3. Idaho

  Idaho? You da ho. Nearly 85% of respondents in Idaho admitted to doing something they shouldn’t have at a bachelor or bachelorette party. Most of them are women, but men aren’t too far back with a 45.5% to 39.4% split.

• 2. North Dakota

  I wouldn’t have guessed it, but North Dakota is the Dakota with the scarlet letter. 85.7% of respondents say they’ve been baaaaad at bachelor and bachelorette parties, and evenly split. You can’t trust anyone up there.

• 1. Delaware

  Did anyone see this coming? If you and your partner live in Delaware, you may want to by-pass the whole bachelor/bachelorette party plan. According to Bonusfinder.com:

  Of our 6,000 respondents, 88.9% got up to some naughty behaviour at a bachelor or bachelorette party. Of these, 61.1% took place at a bachelor party and 27.8% took place at a bachelorette.

  Yikes. That’s a lot of canoodling.
