The 2023 Major League Baseball season is halfway through and baseball jersey sales have been through the roof. The top players of the game squared off during the 2023 MLB All-Star Game in Seattle and a lot of those players made the list of the Top 20 Baseball Jersey Sales this season!

We had to talk about this on The Andie Summers Show because we are all BIG baseball fans!

National League Wins ASG and Jersey Sales

The National League won the Midsummer Classic 2-1, the first time since 2012, and on this list, they hold more of the top 20 over the American League players.

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game had two Phillies representing our great city. Both Nick Castellanos and Craig Kimbrel.

Who Had The Most MLB Jersey Sales In 2022?

That we know the answer to last year thanks to Sports Illustrated. Mookie Betts was in the top spot last season, and he makes the list this year but not the top spot.

T-Mobile Home Run Derby

In fact, it’s the Atlanta Braves who beat out the Dodgers for most players in the top 20 this year. The Braves have four of the top 20 and the Dodgers have three on the list.

2023 MLB Jersey Sale

It’s been an exciting season of baseball. A faster-paced game with more home runs and runs scored than ever before so no wonder why sales are up! The list is based on sales from MLBShop.com of Nike jerseys since Opening Day and was originally reported by MLB.com.

Another Dodger, are we surprised? I feel like every season you are going to see a lot of these players on these lists because they sell jerseys big time. Freeman, a former Atlanta Braves player, has made a splash this season with the LA team. He just represented the Dodgers in the MLB All Star Game.

The former Boston Red Sox outfielder now plays many positions for the Dodgers. You had to know that this name would have to be on the list despite their early season struggles. 45 RBIs this season along with a .237 batting average, Altuve is off to a slower start than he’s accustomed to however, don’t ever count this team out.

The first and only Yankees player on this top twenty list. After his monster homerun season last year (62) he’s looking to do it again but is off to a bit of a slow start with only 19 homers this season. The Yankees are seven games over .500 but still eight games behind the AL East leader.

Number 1 is another Atlanta Braves player, he’s second in Major League Baseball with a .331 batting average and has 21 homeruns this season. He represented Atlanta in Seattle for the Major League Baseball All Star Game. The right fielder is one of the biggest stars in baseball right now.

  • Where Are The Phillies?

    Washington Nationals v Philadelphia Phillies

That’s a great question! No Phillies players made the top twenty list of jerseys due in part to the slow start of the season for the Fightin’s. However, they are now seven games over .500 and if the season ended today, they would occupy a Wild Card spot so stay optimistic and buy those jerseys!
