The Andie Summers Show

Longtime friends Marie Nee and Terrence Speights were at a Philadelphia Eagles game together on October 22nd when they were approached by a woman trying to give away an envelope. At first, they were skeptical but decided to take a leap of faith and accepted the envelope. The woman turned out to be a social media manager for the Eagles and in the envelope were tickets giving them sideline access.

I think what I love the most about this video is the fact that so many people passed on what would be an opportunity of a lifetime. I mean, I kind of get it though. If someone was trying to hand me a random envelope with a camera, I would be skeptical as well.

We have added the video of the special moment below. It went viral on social media, racking up over a million views, but the friends’ special treatment didn’t end there. A week later, Nee and Speights got to tour the Eagles’ home training facility. They were also treated to lunch, attended a coach’s press conference, and were able to mingle with team members, including wide receiver A.J. Brown and defensive end Brandon Graham.

During the visit, the pair of fans were warmly welcomed by the Eagles players and staff. Nee was especially thrilled when wide receiver Britain Covey greeted her, making her feel like a star. She described the Eagles’ team members as humble and kind, and the whole experience made the friends even more devoted fans of the team.

Eagles Social Media

We have to throw some credit to the social media team at the Philadelphia Eagles for coming up with this amazing idea. We are here for it, without a doubt. GO BIRDS!
