Brunch With Brian: The Dew Inn
My next brunch adventure takes me to another restaurant that’s in the neighborhood right across street from where I sing at the National Shrine Of St. John Neumann on the weekends.
The Dew Inn on Girard Ave is a diner that has been a part of Northern Liberties for over 50 years, and they always strive to bring you great food at great prices along with a friendly waitstaff that makes you feel at home.
This has been my go to place for a quick bite to eat and they feature a great variety of breakfast and lunch items.
Before you walk in the door, make sure you bring money. The Dew Inn takes cash only.
Usually I would get something basic like thier fresh egg platters with turkey sausage, but if you really want to splurge, you gotta get the “Hot Mess Omelete” which basically has everything but the kitchen sink, brimming with onions, green peppers, bacon, ham, sausage and cheese which was delicious.
So next time you’re in Northern Liberties, stop in for breakfast or lunch at The Dew Inn.
