What to Know Before You Go: Barefoot Country Music Fest
Barefoot Country Music Fest is happening Thursday August 19 – Sunday August 22 on the beach in Wildwood, NJ and XTU will be there all weekend long! Look for the XTU tent in front of the ZYN Stage!
Things to do:
- Come say hi to us all weekend! Nicole Michalik will be broadcasting on Friday from 3p.m. – 7p.m., Charlie Maxx on Saturday from 4p.m. – 8p.m., and JJ Scordo on Sunday from 4p.m. – 8p.m.

Q. Can I still get tickets?
A. Yes, tickets are still available and you can get them here.
Q. Is there a map of the festival ground?

Q. Can I leave the festival and come back?
A. Yes, re-entry to the festival grounds is allowed at BCMF! For the safety and security of all BCMFers, you will be required to go through security again prior to re-entering the festival.
Q. Do I have to register my wristband in order to enter the event?
A. Yes, registration of your wristbands is mandatory in order to enter the festival grounds. Do not put your wristband on until you arrive at the event.
Q. How do I register my wristband?
A. Just visit https://bcmfest.com/wristbands once your bands arrive in the mail (which should arrive at least 7 days prior to the event). BCMF accepts cash, credit or you can hook your credit card up to your RFID wristband. Your credit card is only charged when you purchase something with your wristband. You do not need to upload any money to the wristband other than to connect it to your credit card
Q. What is allowed to be brought into the festival?
A. You are allowed to bring in the following:
- Phones
- Sunscreen
- Blankets
- Approved Bags
- Festival flags without metal or wooden poles
Please leave the following at home or in your car:
- Fireworks
- Explosives of Any Kind
- Weapons or Firearms of Any Kind
- Bladder Style Backpacks
- Bota Bags
- Drugs
- Drug Paraphernalia
- Outside Food, Alcohol, or Drinks INCLUDING water bottles
- Kites
- Coolers
- Umbrellas
- Audio Recording Devices
- Professional Recording Equipment (photography, video, and/or sound)
- Tents
- Framed Backpacks
- Chairs of Any Kind

- Pets and Animals
These items are off limits for the safety and comfort of guests and performers, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Q. What kind of bag can I bring with me?
A. Barefoot Country Music Fest™ has a clear bag policy to provide everyone with a safer festival experience, as well as to decrease the time it takes to get into the show. Please take note of the following, prior to making your way to the festival.
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
- (Official BCMF Logo clear tote, drawstring and fanny packs plastic bags will be available through festival merchandise outlets)
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or smaller)
- Small clutch bags*, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the fest with one of the clear plastic bags.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs that are not see-through, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
* A small clutch bag is defined as – “approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
Q. Can I tailgate in the beach parking lots?
A. Tailgating or consumption of alcohol or any kind in the beach parking lot is prohibited and will be strictly enforced. For the safety of attendees and their vehicles, the beach parking lot will be monitored throughout the event.
Q. Are there any age restrictions?
A. BCMF is open to all ages. Children 10 and under are admitted free but must be accompanied by an adult. Children 11 years of age and older must have their own ticket.
Q. Will I need to wear a mask at BCMF?
A. BCMF will be following NJ state guidelines at the time of the event. At this time NJ does not have a mask mandate for outdoor events.
