Tim McGraw was thrilled to learn that his Paramount Plus 1883 show, in which he starred opposite his wife Fath Hill, received an Emmy nomination. McGraw played the lead role of James Dutton in the limited series, and Faith played his wife, Margaret Dutton.
Tim posted to Instagram, "So proud of our @1883official team for their #emmy nominations! Every single person that worked on that show put their heart and soul into everything they did day in and day out."
Actor Eric Nelson, who played Ennis, the love interest of McGraw's daughter in the series, commented, "AMEN!"
The 2022 Emmy Awards will air live on September 12, 2022, at 8 PM ET on NBC.
