A New Jersey school is home to filming for a new movie musical based on popular teen flick.
Lauren Due, a reporter with News 12 in New Jersey posted on Twitter some shots of the exterior what is the school in both Mean Girls and Mean Girls 2.

Calling all Plastics! Mean Girls: The Musical is set to film in New Jersey though April.
You can see busses adorned with the fictional school in the original Mean Girls movies. You can also see the exterior of the school has been branded with the name “North Shore High School.”
The movie musical is based on the musical that was adapted from the 2004 movie. All three are written by Philadelphia native Tina Fey. The new project will be released on Paramount +, but the release date is still to be determined.
According to etonline.com, Tim Meadows be in the movie as well as Tina Fey, although there is no word who they will be playing. Also cast in the movie musical are Jenna Fischer, best know as Pam from The Office and Busy Phillips of Dawson’s Creek and another Fey project, Girls5eva. They will be playing Ms. Heron and Mrs. George respectively. You can see the full cast listing and who they will be portraying here.
