All my friends told me it would and the Mickey Mouse Waffle is worth the hype.

Mickeys Are Everywhere

Mickey-shaped food is EVERYWHERE inside the Disney Theme Parks and all around on the Disney Cruise Line ships. Everywhere you turn there is an edible Mickey Mouse shape. At dinner, inside the Enchanted Garden on the Disney Dream cruise ship, a waiter made a child a Mickey Mouse-shaped pile of ketchup for their chicken tenders. The iconic mouse knows no limits when it comes to grub!

Mickey Mouse Waffle

This waffle is one of the more iconic mouse-shaped items amongst Disney fans. The crispy yet soft breakfast treat is very Instagrammable and very pleasing to the eye. But is it delicious? Is it worth the hype? Why do I see people wearing t-shirts with the waffle on the front? I decided to try for myself.

I went a traditional route with my Mickey Mouse waffle. First, I doused the crunchy mouse in hot maple syrup and went in for my first bite. You immediately feel the crunch and then taste the soft vanilla hinted inside.

Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line has perfected the crunchy exterior and pillowy inside of the Mickey Mouse-shaped Waffle. The waffle isn’t the only Mickey Mouse-shaped food onboard, however! The Mickey Bar is something every Disney Cruiser needs to try. A simple mouse-shaped vanilla ice cream bar covered in chocolate makes adults feel like kids again, and kids feel the magic.

Restaurants

The recognizable waffle and Mickey Bar are only a few of the incredible dining options you can find on Disney Cruise Line ships. From Italian, to diner classics, to French cuisine (yes they have snails) Disney Cruise Line has food for even the pickiest eaters. Every night, you and your party rotate between restaurants for dinner. You get to experience all types of cuisine AND have time to see the Broadway quality shows. Your wait staff also travels with you every night. Our servers Rafael and Ajay are hilarious and very attentive. I sometimes see them around the ship during the day and we talk like old friends.
