I Met Joey From 'The Bachelor' At A Philly Bar
Hi! I'm Shannon, the Assistant Producer from The Andie Summers Show. Aside from answering your phone calls, writing articles like these, uploading podcasts, and working with Andie Summers, Jeff Kurkjian, and Donnie to put on a great show, I will also book local or national talent to come onto the show. For the past few weeks, I've been in contact with ABC Network to get Joey Graziadei from the current season of "The Bachelor" onto The Andie Summers Show. For those of you who do not watch the show, Joey is from the Delaware Valley! More specifically, he is from Royersford, PA. He's also an alum of West Chester University and a fan of country music, according to ABC. What a perfect candidate to appear on Philly's #1 Country Radio station!
So why haven't you heard him on the show yet? As you can imagine, Mr. Graziadei has been a very busy man. He's been traveling from coast to coast to appear on talk shows such as Live with Kelly and Mark, The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, to even ringing the bell at a 76ers game. We're all wondering, did he find his true love?
Where Did Shannon Meet Joey?
Of all the bars in all the towns in all the world, Joey from 'The Bachelor' walks into the same bar as me. Yes, I found myself at Plough & The Stars in Old City with Joey Graziadei. How can I, a fan of the show, and a producer trying to get in contact with his team supposed to do? You walk right on up to him. I kindly approached Joey, who was with his fraternity brothers from West Chester University. Guess what, he is a fan of 92.5 XTU! After asking him how I can get him to come onto the show, he had said to DM him from XTU's account on Instagram. Unfortunately, after taking his advice, there's been no response. As I said before, he is a busy man on one of the most popular shows on tv right now.
Right now, Joey is currently down to three women left on the show - Kelsey, Daisy, and Rachel. We should expecting Joey's visit to his hometown in the next episodes where he is taking his date to Collegeville Bakery. Watch Joey find his true love on The Bachelor Monday nights on ABC.
The next Bachelor is Joey Graziadei, and he is from Pennsylvania. Here are 7 things we know about the leading man.
The most recent season of The Bachelorette, with leading woman Charity Lawson, wrapped up on August 21, 2023. Joey was, unfortunately, unlucky in love during Charity’s season, but he’s about to have his turn handing out roses.
During The Bachelorette season finale, Joey met Charity's parents, and her mother, Vicki, even said she thought he may be the one. Joey was also confident in the relationship between him and Charity.
In the final rose ceremony, when the bachelors are either sent home or one gets the girl, Joey was ready to propose. He gave a very swoon-worthy speech and started to drop down to one knee when Charity stopped him. GASP! Charity tearfully expressed to Joey that she had fallen deeper in love with someone else. Always the gentleman, Joey gave her a hug and consoled her. As he was driving away in the limo, truly heartbroken, he said "I want love bad."
Graziadei officially got announced as the next Bachelor for Season 28 of the reality series later during The Bachelorette finale. He was a season favorite, so many were hopeful he'd be the next Bachelor after not ending up with Lawson.
Fans were really rooting for Joey. During his time on The Bachelorette, he proved himself to be kind, genuine, and funny. Reactions to his Bachelor status have been mostly positive, with comments on the Instagram announcement saying things like, "first bachelor I’ve been truly excited about," and "this will be a great season."
In an interview on The Bachelorette season finale, Joey was asked what he is looking for in a partner. "Someone that's just themself that I can truthfully be a partner with. Someone that challenges me, I want someone that I can challenge. I just someone I can do life with."
Joey wore his heart on his sleeve and now it's time for him to find his forever. If you'd like to know more about Graziadei, including his ties to our area, we have you covered.
