‘The Umbrella Academy’ Amazing Season Four, Star Spills Details
David Castañeda, one of the stars of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix streaming now, spilled some exciting secrets to season four of the hit show. He stopped by to chat with Jeff and Shannon of The Andie Summers Show ahead of the release of the newest season.
When asked to describe The Umbrella Academy season 4 in one word, David Castañeda surprised us.
“I’ll just say ‘Wanda’. It’s a very secretive word. You’ll get what I mean when you when you watch it. But I would just say ‘Wanda’. But if you want something that people that haven’t seen it. How to describe it is, chaotic.”
“I think Steve Blackman does a great job of leaving Easter eggs.” Castañeda continues, “And also this is probably one of the only shows that, people are so confused in the first like two episodes, like what is going on, but somehow it keeps you grasped to the storyline and then eventually it pays off as. Yeah, as the episodes move along. So it’s hard to like be on your phone and watching a show, which is sort of the, you know, the thing that people do nowadays. So hopefully people have enough time to do that. But I know the Fans…you know, they’ve sort of been the thing that made us get a second, third, and fourth season and they’re really, really loyal. And yeah, they’re the best.”
The Umbrella Academy Catching Up
This show is SO good but it definitely can get a bit complicated. That’s kind of the whole point of the show, to get us viewers locked on the screen so we don’t miss a super important detail.
As the description on Netflix reads, “Reunited by their father’s death, estranged siblings with extraordinary powers uncover shocking family secrets — and a looming threat to humanity.”
The Umbrella Academy, According To The Critics
According to Rotten Tomatoes, the scores have been pretty solid! 80% from the Tomatometer which is gathered from formal reviews and just over 60% for an audience score. As I mentioned before, and Castaneda mentioned in the interview, this is not a show for casual watchers.
Put the phones down and get ready to absorb all the baby details and Easter Eggs that occur.
