Kelsea Ballerini’s Most Embarrassing Stage Moment
Kelsea Ballerini has been performing on stage for fans for years as an opening act and, starting in January, as a headliner as she headlines her first arena tour all over the country.
There’s no doubt that through all those shows, she’s had one or two embarrassing moments. Kelsea recently shared with People Magazine one of those moments on stage in front of thousands of fans.
She offered, “I do all these costume changes, and I had jeans on. I was singing ‘Miss Me More’, and because I have my [in-ear] monitors in, in my brain, I’m like, ‘Man, people are really yelling this. Things feel extra rowdy tonight!’ And then I realized that they were yelling at me to zip my fly. That was embarrassing.”
She explained that she has also “gotten stuck in a zipper in quick-change before” and that she just had to grab the microphone and be in the tent behind the stage. She added that she feels like all those moments now, instead of being embarrassed, “I just roll with it. It happens.”

Ballerini and Kelly Clarkson are pretty good friends, and it sure showed when Kelsea appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show last week.
Like she does with so many in the music industry, Kelly sang along with Kelsea‘s latest song called “To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak.”
In a video post on Instagram, Kelly said with Kelsea right next to her as they rehearsed the song, “I’m excited to be back together. I love you so much.” Kelsea said, “Thank you for loving me.” Kelly adds, “And I love this song, she sent it to me,” saying that she loved it and was crying while listening to the song walking around New York City. Clarkson says, “And it’s meaningful because a lot of people feel damaged or discarded in relationships and afterward.”
Ballerini recently announced her very first arena tour, playing for bigger crowds as a headliner than she ever has before.
Kelsea posted the news to her over four million followers a few weeks ago on Instagram, writing in her signature lower case, “this ain’t my first rodeo (but it IS my first arena tour!!!!!!) i genuinely can’t wait to be back on the road with you in 2025 and sing our lil hearts out together.”
