New NFL Team To Be Featured In Hallmark Christmas Movie
A Hallmark Christmas movie is once again showcasing romance and the NFL, although this time, it’s not Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Hallmark Christmas Movie Heads Back to Pigskin
If you remember last year, not only was the focus on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, but Donna Kelce was one of the stars.
The Bills will be the second NFL team to star in a Hallmark movie, following last year’s “A Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”, based on the Kansas City Chiefs.
“A Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story” has been selected as this year’s NFL ‘Countdown to Christmas’ movie.
Bills safety Damar Hamlin announced the movie on the Today show: “We’re so excited to celebrate our team, our fans and shoutout to Bills Mafia and our shared love for football and Hallmark Christmas movies. Go Bills. Let’s go.”
You ask, why the Bills? Well, we don’t know for sure, but we think it’s safe to say it has to do with the recent engagement of Bills star quarterback Josh Allen and his fiancee, actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld. Josh and Hailee have kept a very low profile through much of their relationship, but after they got engaged, they have felt more comfortable being out and about.
Josh and Hailee got engaged during the Bill’s bi-week back in November 2024. The Bills, unfortunately, once again lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game, but Josh Allen did win NFL MVP, and he and Hailee look very in love.
Details about the plot, which Bills players will make cameos, or the exact air date of the movie have not been released yet. We haven’t seen Hailee act and sing in quite a while, so it would be pretty amazing to have her star or at least make a cameo in the movie.
Can we get a Philadelphia Eagles Hallmark Christmas Movie next year, please?
